MY TOP TRAVEL ESSENTIALS - NO MORE DEHYDRATED SKIN

Its that time of year when everyone is chasing the sun & heading overseas. We all have our own travel rituals to make long flights more bearable & wanted to share some of my top ones with you
  1. I always pack snacks (nuts, dried fruit, trail mix ..) in zip lock bags - my friends laugh at me, but finding healthy snacks when you want them whilst flying is not so easy (especially for picky eaters like me ..)
  2. I never fly without cut up fresh Ginger to add to my water (hot or cold). Ginger is a powerful anti-inflammatory & aids digestion - drink up & you will notice the difference (also reduces JETLAG ... promise !)

And of course, I must always have my skin care essentials to combat dehydrated & tired looking skin - here are my top picks ....

keep moisture in ....

Due to the harsh air conditions when on board an aircraft, it's essential to keep moisture in. Just a couple of drops of QED wrinkle rewind skin repair serum (from $36) patted over your face & neck after moisturising, will keep your skin nourished & hydrated throughout your flight. I also love how glowy this leaves my skin looking! Our serum also comes in a handy travel roller ball size - small enough to fit in your make up bag.

hydrating facial mist .....

I am slightly addicted to spritzing hydrating mist / toner onto my face ... there’s something wonderfully refreshing about it, This feeling is only heightened once on-board a flight, mainly because your skin is becoming more & more dehydrated leaving it severely thirsty. I spray QED sublime rosewater & aloe mist ($29) onto my skin hourly when flying. I am not only giving my skin the boost of hydration needed, but also soothing any redness or irritations

prevent puffy eyes ...
Our eyes bear the brunt of our exhaustion the most & we often ignore this sensitive area on our face when flying - it is also the area that shows the greatest effects of exhaustion.
Invest in a good eye cream - QED wrinkle rewind exquisite eye cream ($48) is packed with the potent cucumber oil extract that will make all the difference by instantly reducing the appearance of puffiness & dark circles . The smallest dab will make your eye area look refreshed & renewed, also reducing the appearance of those pesky fine lines.
